Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Anchorage, AK)

Westbrook Amber Auto Group is a Anchorage company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for parts orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
