Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Anchorage, AK)

Northwind Pine Markets serves neighbourhoods around Anchorage with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for promotions. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
