Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Wichita, KS)

Bluepeak Clear Foods is a Wichita food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
