Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Wichita, KS)

Summit Lantern Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for tooling. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
