Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Meridian Telecom and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for billing accounts. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
