Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Virginia Beach, VA)

Highbridge Meadow Markets is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for online orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
