Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Ivory Telecom Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 180 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for network equipment. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
