Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Tucson, AZ)

Ironwood West Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
