Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Maple Auto Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer estimates. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
