Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Fern Environmental Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for landfill records. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
