Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Silverline Sparrow Environmental Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 783 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
