Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Tampa, FL)

Northwind Beacon Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Tampa plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for print quotes. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
