Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (St. Louis, MO)

Westbrook Mill Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
