Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (St. Louis, MO)

Stonegate Telecom Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for field visits. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
