Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (St. Louis, MO)

Nova West Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around St. Louis, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 960 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for recycling loads. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
