Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (St. Louis, MO)

Bluepeak Drift Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in St. Louis. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 904 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
