Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Ashton Freight and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
