Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Spokane, WA)

Cedar Field Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Spokane with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 931 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for shrink and waste. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
