Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Savannah, GA)

Northwind Field Press Group is a printer and publisher in Savannah serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for press runs. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
