Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Rook Markets and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for pricing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
