Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Savannah, GA)

Redstone Fern Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Savannah. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
