Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Savannah, GA)

Clearpath Kestrel Manufacturing makes precision components in Savannah, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 120 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for production lines. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
