Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Bright Press and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for paper stock. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
