Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (San Antonio, TX)

Bluepeak Basin Inspection Services is an inspection company in San Antonio with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for client sites. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
