Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (San Antonio, TX)

Westbrook Lantern Auto Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
