Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (San Antonio, TX)

Westbrook Forge Inspection Services is an inspection company in San Antonio with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 127 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for test reports. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
