Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (San Antonio, TX)

Nova Amber Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its San Antonio plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for paper stock. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
