Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Bridge Telecom and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 591 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
