Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Salt Lake City, UT)

Harborlight Fern Inspection Services Group is an inspection company in Salt Lake City with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
