Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Redstone Iron Construction Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for materials orders. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
