Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Lantern Auto Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 753 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
