Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Salt Lake City, UT)

Harborlight Wren Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Salt Lake City. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
