Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Sacramento, CA)

Cedar Cobalt Manufacturing is a Sacramento manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for tooling. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
