Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Sacramento, CA)

Silverline Rowan Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Sacramento. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for dock schedules. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
