Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Sacramento, CA)

Cedar Hollow Environmental Services Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
