Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Meridian Inspection Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for client sites. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
