Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Rochester, NY)

Northwind Wilder Manufacturing makes precision components in Rochester. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for scrap and rework. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
