Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Rochester, NY)

Silverline Glen Farms is an agricultural business based around Rochester, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 763 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
