Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Birch Foods is a Richmond food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for allergen controls. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
