Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Richmond, VA)

Greenridge North Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Richmond plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
