Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Richmond, VA)

Stonegate Cedar Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Richmond. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 732 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for service installations. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
