Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Richmond, VA)

Bluepeak Keystone Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for field records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for field records. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
