Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Richmond, VA)

Greenridge Oak Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Richmond, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
