Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Nova Fern Foods and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
