Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Wilder Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Richmond. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production lines.
