Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Northwind Lakeside Farms and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Reno. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for field records. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
