Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Northwind Vista Manufacturing and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for tooling. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
