Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Rivermark Cross Foods produces packaged foods at its Grand Rapids plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
