Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Nova Orchard Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Indianapolis area. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer tickets. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
