Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Redstone Yarrow Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Baltimore, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 703 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for equipment calibration. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
